ATLANTA
Our Atlanta chapter is dedicated to building self-determination and collective power in the Pittsburgh neighborhood and beyond. Through four core programs, we provide essential resources to vulnerable community members, develop cooperative enterprises to promote economic and food justice, train organizers to strengthen our base and housing initiatives, and engage in political education to deepen our understanding of capitalism, imperialism, and liberation. Together, we cultivate strength, economic empowerment, and transformative change for our community.

We’re hosting a Turkey Giveaway , but it’s about so much more than a meal. It’s about showing our Black senior residents that they are seen, valued, and protected , especially when powerful institutions like Elmington Capital Group, who made over $819.7 million in profits in 2025, continue to profit off their suffering and displacement.
Elmington and the City of Atlanta have failed to care for the very elders whose labor, rent, and resilience built this city. These seniors are being exploited, ignored, and stripped of their basic human rights, and yet they still show up for each other, for us, and for the community.
We refuse to stand by while they are discarded.
Your donation will help Community Movement Builders provide more than turkeys this season, it will help us:
💛 Deliver food and essential groceries to senior residents in need
🏠 Organize and protect Black elders from eviction and displacement
🤝 Build networks of care, safety, and collective power among our seniors
✊🏾 Give what you can today. Help us feed our elders and fight for their right to live with dignity and respect.
